The third Friday of each month, Southern Gospel Singers United hosts an evening of southern gospel music at Kentucky Opry in Draffenville. On Friday, June 18, For Heaven’s Sake will be in concert at 7:00. More information is available by calling 270-527-3869 or 270-227-0611.

Cumberland Thunder will be in concert Saturday, June 19, at 5:00, at Bethany Baptist Church, located at 988 KY-247 in Eddyville.

The Living Truth Quartet will be in concert Sunday, June 20, at 11:00, at Crofton Baptist Church, located at 155 College Street in Crofton.

KT&T will be in concert Sunday, June 20, at 11:00, at Church of God of Prophecy, will be held at 207 Midway Drive in Erin, TN.

For Heaven’s Sake and KT&T will be in concert Sunday, June 27, at 6:30, at Christ United Methodist Church, located at 1322 West Broadway Street in Mayfield.

Southern Gospel Singers United is hosting Gospel Sing-Sation at Kentucky Opry in Draffenville Friday, July 9 through Sunday, July 11. A total of 20 groups are scheduled to perform. Allison Speer will be the guest emcee Friday and Saturday. Concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:00 Sunday afternoon. Tickets are $10 per day. Summer Gospel Music Fest will begin Friday, July 30, at 6:00, at His House Ministries in Mayfield, at 1250 State Route 303 in Mayfield. A tent revival will be held. The Old Paths and KT&T will be singing. For more information, call 270-804-1375.

Revival, Homecoming, and Other Services

Mt. Zion Baptist Church, at 9701 Blandville Road in Paducah, is holding a retirement celebration for Pastor Wes Conner on Sunday, June 27, at 10:00. A meal will follow the service.

The 133rd Hurricane Camp Meting will be held Monday, July 26 through Sunday, August 1, at 7:00 each evening. Guest speakers include Steve Stone Monday through Saturday, Danny Hinchee on Sunday morning, and James Young on Sunday evening. The Stone Family will be singing at each service Monday through Saturday, and will be joined by Classy and Grassy Saturday evening.

Vacation Bible School

Memorial Baptist Church in Murray is holding vacation Bible school through Thursday, June 17, from 5:30 until 8:00 each day. A meal will be provided daily. Enrollment is open to kids three years old through students who have completed sixth grade. More information and registration is available online.

Burna Central Baptist Church, at 1471 Highway 60 East in Burna, is holding a program on Jonah and the Whale Saturday, June 19, from 10:00 until noon. Lunch will be provided. Kids ages three through twelve are invited.

Educational Events

West Kentucky Future Christian Athletes is hosting Power Camp at Reidland Middle School Wednesday, June 16 through Friday, June 18. The camp will be held from 9:00 to 3:30 each day and feature sports clinics, a daily Bible message, athlete testimonies, and praise and worship.
