Southern Gospel Singers United Presents their 2024 Fall Convention to be held on October 18th and 19th, starting at 6:30 pm each night at the Kentucky Opry, located at 88 Chilton Lane in Benton, KY. Josh Wilson will be in concert on Friday, October 18th at 7:00 pm at the Marshall County Extension Office located at 2081 Mayfield Highway, Benton, KY 42025. Tickets are $25 dollars and are available at Three Crosses Church and Life Associates. All proceeds will benefit Caring for You Counseling Inc.
The Gospel Music Extravaganza will be held on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at the Grapevine Baptist Church located at 85 Sandcut Road in Madisonville, KY. On Friday at 6:30 pm, the featured artist will be Greater Vision along with host group, The Childress Family. On Saturday at 2:00 pm, the featured artist will be Tribute Quartet with host group The Childress Family. Doors will open one hour before the concert. A love offering will be received. Smithland First Baptist Church is holding the Livingston County Hometown Hero First Responder 5k on Saturday, October 19th, with registration at 7:30am and the race itself beginning at 8am. Proceeds will benefit the First Responders Hometown Hero Banner and the SFBC Scholarship for graduating seniors in Livingston County. The West KY FCA and Edward Jones Turkey Trot 5k/10k will be held on Thursday, November 10th at 7:30 am at 215 Jefferson Street, Downtown Paducah, KY. This is a fundraiser to benefit the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Camp at Western Kentucky University. All ages are welcome and will be categorized into groups.
