By Grace will be singing Sunday, September 26, at 10:45 a.m., at Northside Baptist Church in Mayfield.

Eric Horner will be in concert Saturday, October 3, at 6:00, at Sand Hill Baptist Church in Symsonia.

The Tribute Quartet will be in concert Sunday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m., at Second Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. The church is located at 720 West Seventh Street. Revival, Homecoming, and Other Services

Liberty Baptist Church, at 7581 State Route 1241 in Hickory, is holding revival services through Wednesday, September 22. Gary Taylor, pastor of Olive Branch Baptist Church in Hopkins County, will be the guest speaker. Services begin at 11:00 Sunday morning and 7:00 each evening Monday through Wednesday.

Sugar Creek Baptist Church, located at 1888 Faxon Road in Murray, will be holding homecoming services Sunday, September 26, beginning at 10:30. Austin Chapman will be the guest speaker, and a potluck will follow. For more information, you can call 270-436-2492.

Sand Hill Baptist Church, at 10318 State Route 408 East in Benton, is holding a homecoming service Sunday, September 26. For Heaven’s Sake will be singing at 1:00.

Trunk-or-Treat

The Reidland-Farley Baseball and Softball Association is holding a trunk or treat and chili cookoff Saturday, October 23, from 5:00 until 9:00 at Reidland Ball Park, at 1075 Said Road in Reidland. Community

Generations Adult Day Services, a non-profit Christian organization serving older adults and persons with disabilities, is currently hiring. Generations Adult Day Services is located in Mayfield and offers a relaxed, non-traditional nursing environment where the primary responsibility is providing the “medicine” of socialization and laughter. This position is best suited for persons with a love of working with older adults/persons with disabilities and who have a heart to serve in a faith-based organization. Locust Grove Baptist Church, at 1871 Locust Grove Road in Murray, is hosting its annual corn maze through September 29. The maze will be available each Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:00 until 9:00. More information is available at 270-816-1777.

American Legion Post 236 in Calvert City is hosting their annual turkey shoot beginning Friday, October 1. Events will be held each Friday evening through February, beginning at 6:00.

Covenant Ranch in Buchanan, Tennessee is hosting the Ironman Weekend Men’s Retreat October 1 and 2. Joe Bufford will be the keynote speaker and Dave Sekura will be the teen pastor. Activities will include archery, firearm competitions, defense competitions, hiking, sports, and more. The registration deadline is September 20. Meals and lodging are included in the registration cost. Tent camping is available on site at not cost. Pastors may attend for free. Calvert City’s Fall Fun Fest will be held Saturday, October 2, from 9:00 until 4:00, at Memorial Park. Live music, food and arts and crafts vendors, inflatables, and other activities will be held throughout the day. Vendor applications remain available through September 24. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Walk will be held Saturday, October 2, from 10:00 to noon on the campus of WKCTC. Out of the Darkness Walks give people the courage to open up about their own connections to the cause, and a platform to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. In recognition of World Mental Health Day, Baptist Health Paducah and Marshall County Health Department are offering free mental health exams Monday, October 11, from 1:00 to 4:00. Fundraisers

The Mayfield-Graves County Animal Shelter is holding a chili cook-off and benefit auction Saturday, September 25, beginning at 3:00. The fundraiser will be held at WK&T Tech Park on Highway 45 north of Mayfield. For more information, call 270-251-0130.

Heartland Ministries Radio, located at 219 College Street in Hardin, will be holding a yard sale fundraiser Thursday, September 30, and Friday, October 1, from 8:00 until 4:00 each day.
