SGSU presents “Southern Gospel Night” at the Kentucky Opry on Friday, May 16th at 7pm. This month, Under Grace and His Story will be performing. There is no admission charge. The Kentucky Opry is located at 88 Chilton Lane in Benton, KY.
SGSU presents the Liberty Boys, Gage Quartet, Still Water, Moreheads, For Heaven’s Sake and Under Grace in concert at the Marshall County Children’s Arts Center, located at 1202 Elm Street in Benton, KY on Saturday, May 17th at 5 pm.

A singing to benefit a young boy named Raiden who is battling cancer, will be held at Abundant Grace Fellowship in Madisonville, KY on May 31st at 6 pm. Performances will be by The Stone Family, Living Waters and The Masseys. There will also be a silent auction that night, with all proceeds to help with expenses as Raiden’s family travels back and forth to Nashville for chemotherapy. Area churches will be participating in the “Revival Among Churches” week, May 12th-17th. Monday:Owens Chapel, Murray-Brother Kim Reeder, Tuesday: Grace Baptist, Murray-Brother James Stom, Thursday: New Harmony, Benton-Brother Jack Kee, Friday: Union Ridge Baptist: Brother Mark Sickling, and Saturday: Holly Hills Baptist, Calvert City-Brother Scott Penick. Services start at 7 pm each night.

The “10 Evangelistic Practices Creating a Culture of Evangelism” training event will take place at the Ohio River Baptist Association Building in Salem, KY on Saturday, May 31st from 9 am-12 pm. It will be led by Rob Patterson, Evangelism Team leader for the Kentucky Baptist Convention. The purpose of this event is to encourage and inspire you to share your faith, and help you effectively guide your church to become more evangelistically driven.
There will be a Cruise-In and Car Show on Saturday, June 7th at the Mayfield/Graves County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 8 am, and the event runs from 10 am-2 pm. There will be free food while suppplies last, bump and jumps, and a testimony at 1:30 pm.

Calvert City Nursing and Rehab is having their 6th annual Golf Scramble on Friday, May 30th starting at 10 am with a shotgun start and a late lunch provided. Cost is $300 per team of 4, $150 per team of 2, with a discounted rate for first responders. Registration begins at 9:30 am.
